Today MSH (My Sweet Husband) and I are celebrating 3 months of marriage! If you have been married for many years, congratulations! Relationships take work, and I commend you on working throgh the tough times. You also know that the early days mean adjusting to new routines, and being with the one you love each and every day. MSH and I are settling in to our new routines very nicely, and I love how our days play out. As newlyweds, we celebrate each passing month, making it our special date day. Of course this is the man that bought me flowers every month we were dating, so his romantic side is not new to me! Each month I make a special card for him to celebrate.

Country Roads for the Global Design Project

I recently heard the old John Denver hit song Country Roads on the radio. They were talking about how the writers of the song were travelling when they wrote it, but not to West Virginia, and in fact, they had never been to West Virginia! When I saw the theme for today’s Global Design Project challenge, I thought of this song, and wanted to create a card to reflect that.

A Room With a View

I love spending time at the cottage in the summer, and as everyone knows, I love paper crafting!! I find making handmade cards is a great way to relax, and when you give someone a hand made card you share joy and love. What a perfect combination. I spend a lot of time at the cottage in the summer, as does my neighbour out back, so for Margo's birthday card I wanted to make a card that reflected the beauty that we enjoy all summer. An Amazing Creative Weekend

This past weekend I hosted our January Girls Get Away Weekend (GGAW). What a fantastic time we had!! I find a weekend away with some amazing women, lots of creative sharing, fabulous food, and general relaxation to be soooo good for the soul. I came home feeling refreshed and invigorated, and I think others that were at the event did too.
