There are lots of cards with beautiful flower images, soft colours, and feminine touches. They are lovely, but sometimes you need a card that has a definite masculine tone to it. I know there are a lot of people that struggle to make this type of card, so today I offer some masculine inspiration in my masculine moment.Read More
Have you seen all the fabulous new InColours yet? I am really liking them, along with the coordinated products like the ribbon on my card today.Read More
The Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge is to create a masculine card. I love making masculine cards, as they are very different than the ones we tend to make with flowers. (Although I love those too!!) I like to add a little extra challenge sometimes, and today I have added a twist to my masculine card. Can you find something on my card that may not be considered masculine?Read More
As a crafter of any type, we end up with left over bits, projects half done, and pieces we were going to use in a project, but changed things up and did not. In one of my posts I mentioned I had gathered up all those bits and pieces to make them into cards. While I did use some bits at my last Girls Get Away Weekend, I still have lots of goodies in my box, so I’m going to try to pull some out on a regular basis and make them into something!Read More
I know Father’s Day isn’t until June, but hey I posted a Christmas card recently so surely I can show a Father’s Day card now!! While I was playing with the Geared Up Garage stamp set, I set a goal to use all the stamps, so I made a Father’s Day card to use that stamp.Read More
Today MSH (My Sweet Husband) and I are celebrating 3 months of marriage! If you have been married for many years, congratulations! Relationships take work, and I commend you on working throgh the tough times. You also know that the early days mean adjusting to new routines, and being with the one you love each and every day. MSH and I are settling in to our new routines very nicely, and I love how our days play out. As newlyweds, we celebrate each passing month, making it our special date day. Of course this is the man that bought me flowers every month we were dating, so his romantic side is not new to me! Each month I make a special card for him to celebrate.Read More
We are moving close to the end of the Stampin’ Up! catalogue year, and that means the 2017 - 2019 In Colours will be retiring soon. I wanted to celebrate some of these colours, starting with Fresh Fig, and some simple stamping. Anyone can make beautiful hand made cards, using very few products, creating quick cards to send to friends and family.Read More
It’s almost Spring, and soon (we hope) the weather will be warm enough for the motorcycles to come out of winter storage. I don’t ride, but MSH (my sweet husband) does, and I know he has a buddy at work that wants the snow to go away and the nice weather to start so they can ride together. It is those thoughts that inspired today’s card.Read More
I love when I find the perfect sentiment already in a stamp. It makes card making simple, and helps create a card that is just right for the person I want to send it to. This masculine card has just the right amount of teasing fun!Read More
I have spent some time playing with the Classic Garage Suite. I got this a few months ago, and used it for our Girls Get Away Weekend in January, (see the card we made here), but I haven’t used it much since and it was calling to me.
Today’s card could be used for Father’s Day (if you are really organized and want to make one now!), or for Dad’s birthday, or any time you want to let your Father know you think he is great.
By the time you read this, I will be hosting a Girls Get Away Weekend (GGAW). This is a weekend to get away and take some time to pamper yourself, do what you enjoy, and spend time with a great bunch of ladies. Most of the group are avid scrap bookers, so I like to interject a little card making into the weekend, but for today I prepared a single page layout using the new Classic Garage Suite.Read More
