Forever Blossoms at GGAW

This past weekend was our Girls Get Away Weekend. What a fantastic time spent with wonderful women. We crafted, chatted, ate great food, laughed, supported and encouraged each other and had an amazing time together.
We made a side step card using the Forever Blossoms stamp set, and I had some alternate projects using the same supplies. Here is one of the alternate cards.

Here Comes Sale-A-Bration

It’s a new year and a new decade! Welcome to 2020, it is going to be a great year. We kick it all off with a new mini catalogue that goes live on January 3, and Sale-a-Bration (SAB) starts then too. The new catalogue is filled with lots of great stamp sets, dies, papers, embellishments, kits and everything you need for beautiful paper crafting. The best part about this time of year though, is Sale-a-Bration. For every $60 you spend on anything at all from the new mini, or the annual catalogue, you can select a FREE item from the SAB brochure. It has everything from cute to beautiful, and lots in between! I thought we would start with cute.

Happy New Year

It is New Year’s Eve, and that often means reminiscing about the past year, and looking forward and planning for the new year to come. I know not too many people send New Year’s cards, but one year I just couldn’t get Christmas cards sent, so instead I sent New Year’s cards. It was a great way to kick off the new year, and wish all my friends and family the very best for the coming year.

Christmas Over The Years

Merry Christmas Eve to everyone! For the next few posts I thought it would fun to look back at some of the Christmas projects from years past. If you have been at my classes over the years, you may have made some of these. While many of the items used may no longer be available for sale, you may still have some of these products so if you see something that inspires you, pull out your supplies and craft away!

Deck The Halls

Deck the halls with boughs of holly. And maybe decorate a card with holly while you are at it!! I love the holly image in the Christmas Gleaming stamp set. Actually I love the whole stamp set, and when you combine it with the coordinating dies and the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper, it is a real winner.

Sneak Peak - Timeless Tulips

When I was at OnStage recently, we got to see and play with some of the wonderful new products that will be available in the Mini Catalogue that goes live in January. That’s one of the fantastic perks of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. One of the new sets is Timeless Tulips, and it is a beautiful DistINKive stamp set with lovely tulips and sentiments. There is also a coordinating punch that you can bundle with the stamp set and take advantage of a 10% discount on these 2 great products. For today though, I just used stamping for my card, no punch.

Hello Birdies

One of the most popular suites in the Stampin’ Up! Annual catalogue is the Bird Ballad Suite. The stamp set Free As A Bird has wonderful sentiments along with lovely line images perfect for colouring. If it isn’t a colouring kind of day though, you could just use the line image for a card, or you could get some coloured birds from the pretty Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper, as I have done!

If You Can Dream It You Can Do It

What wonderful words those are from Walt Disney. Walt had a vision of so many things, including his world famous theme park. He had a vision and a dream to make it a reality, and he did just that. Wise words for sure. Dreaming it is one thing, but believing you can do it, also helps us reach goals that it would be easy to say “I can’t do that” to. My card today reflects that belief.

Love. To. Dance.

Do you ever hear a favourite tune on the radio and just start dancing to it in your living room? I think that is fairly common, I know I certainly do it. It is the perfect opportunity to hear great music, and dance like no one is watching. My card today reminds me of the fun and carefree moments created by that, not to mention it is good exercise!!!
