December Birthday

Do you have friends and family with a birthday in December? It can be easy to get wrapped up in holiday preparation and forget about other important events, but December babies deserve a great birthday card just like everyone else in our lives. Today’s card is to wish everyone having a birthday this month a very happy day!

I used a tree from the Rooted in Nature stamp set, stamped with Mint Macaron ink. There are dies that coordinate with this set, but instead I cut my tree out with the Stitched Nested Labels dies, along with a frame of Grapefruit Grove. That is all sitting on a backdrop of Designer Series Paper from the Woven Threads DSP. My card base is Mint Macaron. I stamped my sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings in Pretty Peacock ink, and cut it out with an oval die from Stitched Shapes. I used some 1/2” Scalloped Linen Ribbon in Pretty Peacock along with some Gold Metallic Pearls to embellish my card.
