Mystery Stamping

We had so much fun at our Mystery Stamping Event last week and I want to share the cards I made with you. If you have never tried Mystery Stamping, it is great fun, and everyone makes something different.

The first card uses Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper and Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon

Mystery Stamping starts with the first clue to gather all the items you will need for crafting. When we gather, I give additional clues for each step, and everyone interprets them in their own way, and creates their card.
Since we all use different products for our craft stash, every card is different. It is also fun to see how each person interprets the clues. For example, one of the clues for this card was to stamp a line across your piece of cardstock, as you can see in the background on my card. Some people stamped through the middle, and some people stamped near an edge. I love how we all do something a bit different.

The second card uses Sand & Sea DSP with Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon. For this card I overlapped the DSP strips, adhering the middle one with Dimensionals.

The third card has a more masculine theme, and uses DSP from the Well Suited pack, along with the Well Suited Twine.

The fourth card has Hydrangea Hill DSP and Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon, and is made landscape rather than portrait.

All the Designer Series Paper and Ribbon used on these cards will retire soon, so I wanted to celebrate them one more time before they are gone.

Watch for one more card on a post tomorrow that includes a Sneak Peak of products that will be available in the new Annual Catalogue.

This is a fun evening of crafting and sharing. Plan to join us next month (3rd Thursday) when we will solve a new mystery!
