Craft Spot - Fragrant Layers

I love the Fragrant Layers Bundle, but I have to admit, the dies are what make it so very special.

I love 2 step stamping which this stamp set does feature, but the dies are so unique, they bring a wonderful creative element to our crafting.

The first card featured the layers of dies to create pretty flowers without stamping. (I will get to the stamping another day!)

For this card I used Blending Brushes to create a soft background, and layered the Basic Black die over top. I love the soft colours in the back, with the pop of black. I used the Lovely Stripes 3D Embossing Folder for the background piece. This new embossing folder adds another dramatic element to the card. If you don’t have this one, you need it in your stash.

For this card I used the die cut as a mask, and added colour with Sponge Daubers. In the video you can see what it looked like without the black. That would have made a nice card, but the black did add a fantastic pop so we went with the extra layer!
