Connie's Craft Along - Today's Challenges!

It wasn’t an epic fail, but there were definitely some challenges with today’s episode of Connie’s Craft Along! Some small technical glitches to start, some cutting challenges and more. Check out the video for a laugh.
Here were the pieces we started with -
Cardstock 1 - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
Cardstock 2 - 5 1/8 x 3 7/8
Cardstock 2 - 1 x 1 (x2)
Basic White c/s - 5 x 3 3/4
DSP (Patterned Paper) - 12 x 1
You will need your trimmer to cut and score
Stamps, ink, adhesive, embellishments

And here is the card I made before all the fun began.

The second card when well after I fixed some poor cutting. The colours really pop on this one, so it will make anyone’s birthday special.

For the last card I wanted to make a portrait version. I messed up the first try, then I messed up the second try, so I decided to call it a happy day and figure it out later. As soon as I turned the camera off it came to me. So here is the missing tip.
When you lay yours strips down, make sure you have just the tip of the triangle in the centre of the score lines. That will ensure you are placing your strip on the correct side of the score line. My mistake was that I put the first strip on the wrong side, so the points of the pinwheel did not come together correctly!

Now we know.

So you have tips to get the triangles on the strips correctly, and now the tip to put the tips together! Good luck and have fun crafting your cards. It is a great pattern and well worth trying.
Happy Crafting everyone.
