So few people send cards, and it is such an easy way to brighten someone’s day. The Pastor at my church is fantastic at staying in touch with people, so I make Thinking of You and Hello type cards for him to send. I love donating a stack of cards to the church and knowing they will bright so many peoples day. I’m truly grateful that he takes the time to stay in touch with people, and love to do my part to help with that.

I love the High Tide stamp set. If you check out page 145 in the Annual Catalogue, you will see a few great projects made with this stamp set. I especially love how they have cropped some of the greetings to give even more flexibility to how you use this set. For my card today I used a full sentiment stamp that shares a great message of support.

As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I belong to a group of demonstrators that have a weekly business chat. The woman that facilitates these chats is fantastic. She has been a demonstrator for many years and has lots of great experience and ideas. She openly shares these with us, along with research she has done on each topic.
Recently she lost her son, a devasting but very real life event. I wanted to make a sympathy card for her. Something simple that would let her know that at a terrible time there were people that wanted to support her.

Today I have another card I made using the Delightfully Detailed Memories and More cards. The large cards are 4 x 6 inches in size, so they are bigger than you need for a regular card front. You can use the Memories and More Cards and Envelopes, but I decided to use a regular card base. I just trimmed it to 3 5/8 x 5 1/8 to fit my card base and that gave me an extra piece to use to add a border to my greeting piece.

I have been using the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper recently, mostly for baby cards. You can see one of them here. This DSP is great for baby cards, but also lots of other types of cards. My card today was not for a baby, but instead S.B. (Sweet Boyfriend!). He loves sitting on the dock at the cottage just looking at all the stars and the wonder of the universe beyond us, so the DSP of a night sky with stars twinkling was perfect for him.
