Connie's Craft Along - What Is It?

Each week I go live on Facebook and share Connie’s Craft Along. I tell you what pieces to prepare in advance and then we can craft together. I usually start with a relatively simple layout, and my hope is that it inspires you to try the layout with papers from your stash, or step it up with extra layers, more die cuts, embossing or wherever your creativity leads you.
I hope you enjoy these Craft Along Events and would love your feedback.

Here is what we started with today.
Cardstock 1 - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 (x2)
Cardstock 2 - 5 1/4 x 4 embossed
Designer Series Paper 1 - 5 1/4 x 4
Designer Series Paper 2 - neutral(ish) strip - 10 x 3/4
Basic White - Strip for sentiment (x2)
C/S circle - to stamp on or attach interest element die cuts to
Stamps, ink, adhesive, embellishments

We stacked our DSP and cardstock together to make sure the angle was cut the same on both pieces. This gave us 4 pieces to play with, enough for two cards.

I didn’t turn my papers over for the second card by I did swap sides for the ferns and sentiment. There are lots of small changes you could make to this layout to change things up quickly and easily.
