Craft Spot - Oh My!

The question of the day is . . . was it an adventure or a hot mess?
Okay, let’s be honest, it was a hot mess! Let me explain.
Craft Spot is my crafting adventure. It is my challenge to have an idea and have you help me execute it to build a lovely card. Unfortunately my idea this week needed a little more pre-test work.
I was using an inspiration sheet for working with scrap squares of Designer Series Paper. I had looked at it, but hadn’t really worked it through. It asked for 3” squares of DSP, that were then cut in half to make 2 triangles, then some were cut again to make smaller triangles.
The problem is that the starting square was too big, so nothing was fitting on the card properly. Ahhh, such is how it goes when you wander into the forest for an adventure! We did end up making a card, but it took a lot of wandering to get there!

I do like how we ended up with a bit of a stripey type of pattern, but it was a bit painful getting there.

After my FB live I played with some other sizes. This card started with 2 1/4 inch squares, and it all fits quite nicely on the card. I would suggest this size square, or you could play with others and see what fits.
