Connie's Craft Along - 4 Corner Stamping Technique

If you want to make a group of cards with one stamping session, here is a great way to do it. The 4 Corner Stamping Technique gives you 4 great cards from one piece of 8 1/2 x 11 that you stamp and then cut. Here is what you need.

I will be using the Sweet Bugs stamp set to make some super cute cards, but use whatever you like. You will need about 3-5 smallish stamps, and an equal number of ink colours.
Feel free to mix and match card bases and layer colours
Cardstock 1 - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 (x4)
Cardstock 2 - 5 1/4 x 4 (x4)
Basic White - full piece 8 1/2 x 11
Basic White - sentiment piece (x4)
Cardstock layer - frame for sentiment (x4) - optional
Stamps, ink, adhesive, embellishments
You will need a trimmer

The stamps I chose were line images, but rather than leave them open, I decided to use Water Colour Pencils to colour the images. I used a Blender Pen to smooth the colouring lines and get the colour to flow evenly around my images.

Once you cut your paper you can decide if you want layers, and if your cards will be portrait or landscape. I decided to mix up my colours and do some portrait and some landscape!
It was a Thursday when I did this on my Facebook Live, and it was also a bit of a throw back day. I used a wood mount stamp for the sentiment for these cards. I haven’t used one of those for quite some time!
