Connie's Craft Along - Berry Botanical Vellum

The Product of the Month for May is Berry Botanical Vellum. It is bright and colourful and full of pretty flowers.

I have used it on many projects recently and love how happy the cards are, they will certainly make the recipient smile when they receive them.

Here are the measurements for these cards.
Cardstock 1 - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Cardstock 2 - 4 x 3 embossed
Cardstock 3 or DSP - 4 x 2
Basic White - 1/2 strip or banner bunch
Interest elements - die cut, punched, fussy cut items
Stamps, ink, adhesive, embellishments
You will need a trimmer

I used Barely Blush ink to stamp tone on tone for my centre piece of cardstock. Barely Blush is a super soft pink and coordinates very nicely with the more intense Strawberry Slush above and below it on this card.
My sentiment is from the Banner Sayings Bundle. I love the great variety in this stamp set, and who doesn’t love a punch, especially one that punches 3 banners at a time!

For the second card I swapped out the centre cardstock for some Designer Series Paper. This piece is from the Moonlit Flora DSP and adds a bright pop of Berry Burst to the gorgeous Hydrangea Hue above and below it.
