Connie's Craft Along
We had fun playing with some pretty paper and cute stamps at Connie’s Craft Along today.
Here is what we stared with -
Cardstock – 8 ½ x 5 ½ scored at 4 ¼
Use a couple of coordinating DSP patterns -
DSP (patterned paper) – 2 ½ x 1 ¼
DSP – 1 ¼ x 2 ½
DSP 1 ¼ x 1 ¼ (x4)
DSP 2 ½ x 2 ½ plus die cut or punched interest elements to fit
OR
2 ½ x 2 ½ Basic White / Very Vanilla c/s for stamping an image on
Basic White / Very Vanilla c/s for sentiment – or you could stamp on your DSP if it is light coloured
Stamps, ink, adhesive, embellishments
This card can be portrait or landscape.
I used the Splash of Sparkles Specialty Designer Series Paper for this card. The paper in this pack is so fun! It is like a party in a package. It is hard to turn this paper to the back, but there are some really great designs (but no gold foil) on the back. The die cut is from the Greenery Lane die set.
For the second card I used a stamp from the Sweet Bugs stamp set, and coloured it with Stampin’ Blends. This stamp set is super cute and fun to create with. The paper is from the Lovely Blossoms DSP pack.
