Craft Spot - Gears & Textures

I love the new bundle Gears & Textures. There are lots of great texture stamps along with some neat gears, and the dies cut all sorts of gears and cogs and fun mechanical things!

I wasn’t sure what I was going to do for Craft Spot this week, but I knew I wanted to play with this bundle to I just started stamping and cutting. Just pulling everything out and trying it is a great way to learn about your new bundle, and it is also a great way to get inspired about what you want to make.

All the texture stamps just make we want to create my own Designer Series Paper, so that’s what I did. I used Timid Tiger and Crumb Cake ink for this card. Just two colours to create such a fun background. I die cut some gears and other elements, including the pieces for the sentiment and frame.

I had lots of left over die cuts so I was able to make a second card with my bits and pieces. I used the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to the base layer for this card.

Both cards have sentiments from the fantastic January Product of the Month stamp set - Fabulous Sayings.
