Four Corner Stamping

I have been using the Happy Hibiscus stamp set for a number of events lately, and I love it! I was sure it would be a wonderful set for the Four Corner Stamping Technique, and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

I used Cloud Cover, Misty Moonlight, Timid Tiger, Lemon Lime Twist, and Garden Green for these cards.

As much as I had been thinking about this for a while, when I sat down to craft I wasn’t sure how well it would work since the 3 flowers are actually one stamp (to fit the dies and hybrid embossing folder), but it worked fine.

I stamped the flower outline with Cloud Cover, but filled them in with different colours of ink that I had stamped off. I love all the dimension and texture you get with 2-step stamping.

I added Timid Tiger borders to 2 of the cards and changed the sentiment frame. I love that you can make these cards landscape or portrait depending on how your stamping turns out. It is hand to envision at first, and always a bit of a surprise when you cut the cardstock after stamping.

So. Much. Fun.
