Fragrant Layers

Lot’s of people say this is the most wonderful time of the year, and they mean Christmas, but if you are a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, this is a wonderful time of the year because there will be a new catalogue and new Online Exclusives in January, and as a demonstrator we get to order products early and are already playing with new things!

On Craft Spot this week I shared the new Fragrant Layers Bundle. This is a great bundle with two-step stamping. I love two-step stamping as it gives your card fantastic colour variations just from stamping. You can also use just the outline stamp and your colouring tools to add to your image. There is lots of flexibility with this type of stamp set.

This bundle also has two-step dies which means you can create beautiful images just with die cut pieces. You can also mix and match - some stamping and some die cutting as I did in this third card.

This is the card that I made at our team meeting. We were playing a game where the steps we took were determined by the roll of a dice. It was a fun way to be told to stamp something, cut something, glue something, etc. and try to have it all make sense in a card. I didn’t get to stamp my leaves, but I was allowed to cut something, so I die cut them and it turned out just fine! Using this bundle gave me lots of options for our game.
