Today I have some more cards that celebrate the Splendid Thoughts Bundle. I ordered this bundle as I was participating in a craft session that Stampin’ Up! Was hosting, and I must say I’m really glad I did. I really like this bundle! It has pretty leaf sprigs and works so well with gorgeous Splendid Day Specialty Designer Series Paper, but today I’m pairing it with the FREE Sale-a-Bration Rings of Love DSP.

I will confess that I feel kind of creative and artistic when I use an outline stamp and the coordinating solid image that does not match the outline exactly. The ‘in the area, but not in the lines look’ is not something I would think to do, as my brain tends to want symmetry and precision, but I’m always happy with the results when I use this type of stamp. I feel creative but it is really the stamp doing all the work! I used layers of stamping and die cuts to create texture on this card. My pot is embossed with the Splatters 3D embossing folder, one of my favs.

For the second card I used a different piece of the Rings of Love DSP. There are some diverse patterns in this paper pack, and they are all pretty! This one has a soft look to it with a Petal Pink background and Parakeet Party leaves. I added some Fun Flower Resin Shapes to embellish this card.
