Today's Splash

I have started doing a Facebook Live on Wednesday morning called Coffee With A Splash Of Inspiration. I have only held 2 so far, but I am having fun with them, and hope you have had a chance to join me and enjoy them as well.

Working through my stamp sets, today was Artistically Inked. When I started this card I really had no idea what I want to do, but I have used 2 colours of ink on these stamps in the past and really like the results. I decided to use the long stamp for my cards, so inked it with Fresh Freesia, then used a sponge dauber to add some Highland Heather ink to it. I stamped this down the whole piece of Basic White cardstock. Next I added some Highland Heather flowers, some Fresh Freesia tiny flowers and some Gorgeous Grape tiny dots. Once I had finished, I was really pleased with how it turned out, it would make a great background piece. I stamped my hello sentiment 3 times and fussy cut each one. They are mounted on Highland Heather cardstock punched with the Double Oval Punch.

The second card was created exactly the same way, but I used Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Starry Sky for this one.

I didn’t know where I was going, but I like where I ended up!
