Watercolour Splash

It is World Watercolour Month and I’m celebrating different ways to ‘watercolour’. It isn’t just colouring stamped images (although I will share some of that on Saturday), but just working with colour and water to create pretty projects.

This week my Coffee And A Splash Of Inspiration shared a Splash of Watercolour. This is created using ink, water and our clear blocks. I used Parakeet Party and Garden Green inks for this background. Once complete and dry, I stamped the tree image from Amazing Silhouettes using Memento Black Ink. The sentiment is from Go To Greetings.

For this card I stamped Pear Pizzazz ink on the bottom of the block and Fresh Freesia on the top of the block. Spritz it with water, and stamp on your cardstock for a pretty background. I stamped the Dragonfly Garden flowers image using my Stamparatus and Memento Black Ink. I decided to stamp my sentiment on another piece of cardstock that I had used the colour block ink on. The Pear Pizzazz strip of cardstock is embossed with the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder.
