Colour Challenge

At a recent That’s Fancy Facebook Live event, I decided to ask for a colour challenge. Those watching suggested 3 colours I would craft with the following week. Here is the challenge.

The challenge colours were Real Red, Pale Papaya and Gorgeous Grape. This is not a colour combination I would normally go to, but as I was working with them I realized how well these three colours work together.
This card includes the wonderful Stitched Greenery Die to create the background piece. I love this die. It adds such a great texture and pattern, but is different from an embossing folder.

This card features the new Beautiful Shapes Dies, another one of my favourites. I love these hexagons!! The sentiment is from the Here Together Stamp Set, which is part of the All Together Collection that is out now, but only available until May 2.

The third card is rather different than any other card I have made, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. I used all white for my cardstock, and added colour with the ribbons. A hexagon die cut for the sentiment, one Opal Round for a bit of embellishment and you have a simple but lovely card.
I had a great time creating these cards and will definitely offer a colour challenge again in the future.
