Blending Brushes

One of the great new tools in the January to June Mini Catalogue are the Blending Brushes. These brushes have super soft bristles to create soft, smooth blending with your inks. They can be used to make beautiful backgrounds, or add subtle shading to pieces, and so much more.

I used them here to create a soft background for a line image stamp from Dragonfly Garden. I blended with Highland Heather, Seaside Spray and Rococo Rose, and stamped my image in Momento Black.
My sentiment is from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set, and I also used the flower image to stamp inside the card.

I wrapped the main image piece with Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon and tied a bow on one side.
