Blackberry Beauty Thanks

Today I have another FAB Stampers card to share with you. Who are FAB Stampers you ask? Friends Across Borders - FAB Stampers is the name of our group that shares creative ideas with you so you can enjoy different stamping styles and projects. You may have seen the post I shared from my friend Jeanne Moss and her beautiful Stars Are Shining card. So let’s get started.

Have you played with the Blackberry Beauty 12 x 12 Specialty Designer Series Paper? It is a stunning collection of elegant pages to make any project extra special.

This SDSP is part of the Blackberry Beauty Suite, which includes the Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set. The card today though uses the Artistically Inked stamp set. I felt the elegant font on the ‘thanks’ was the perfect match for the beauty of the paper. I love how Stampin’ Up! products mix and match so beautifully, for the ultimate coordination and versatility.

I started with a Blackberry Bliss standard card base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4, followed by a layer of Cinnamon Cider cut 5 1/4 x 4. I stamped the sentiment directly on this layer with Blackberry Bliss ink. I often stamp my sentiment on another layer of cardstock and even pop it up with Dimensionals, but for this card I wanted to let the gorgeous paper be the star, so kept the sentiment more subtle. Don’t worry though, I DID use Dimensionals on this card (because I always have them somewhere!). I adhered the Cinnamon Cider layer to the card base using Dimensionals, so there is still some ‘pop’ on this card!
The SDSP is 5 1/4 x 2, and layered on a piece of Gold Foil cut 5 1/4 x 2 1/4. I tied a bow around this section using Gold 3/8” Shimmer Ribbon because you can’t have too much shine!
I also stamped some flowers on the inside piece to make it special as well.

I love elegant this card is, and hope it will make the recipient know how special they are, and how thankful I am.
