Ink To Block Technique

Today I have a fun technique to share. As with most things in our wonderful crafting world, there are many variations of this technique that may give you slightly different results.
Today I will share how I did it.

I used Misty Moonlight ink for this one, and covered a Clear Block by stamping with my ink pad.

For this one I used Watercolour paper. I spritzed water on both sides of the paper, then stamped my block on the paper.
After it dried, I trimmed it to just the size of the ink block and used it as an accent piece on my card.

This one was done the same way, but I used Cinnamon Cider ink, and stamped on Shimmery White cardstock. The results are virtually the same with either paper.
For this card, I stamped my image directly on my ink block piece, using Memento Black ink.

For this one I used Shimmer White cardstock and Seaside Spray ink. I then used it to punch two Medium Daisy punch outs to make my flower. I love the way the petals are not a solid colour, as is often the case in the garden!

This technique is easy to do, and works in any colour you like. Why not give it a try today!
