In The Pines

You may remember a recent post titled Ridiculously Awesome. (You can see it HERE if you missed it)
I used a piece of Cinnamon Cider Designer Series Paper with a centre cut out. My card today uses that cut out!

I had also been playing with the In The Pines Bundle from the new mini catalogue, and had cut out some of the trees that don’t have a coordinating stamp. Today was clean up day, so I used those pieces to inspire my card.
I used a piece of Shaded Spruce card stock for my background, and stamped leaf images from the Forever Fern stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink, stamping full strength, and stamping off once, and embossed it with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder. My simple HELLO sentiment is from the same set. Both Cinnamon Cider die cuts are from the Tasteful Labels dies.
I finished the card with some Pearlescent White Elegant Faceted Gems.
I love using bits and pieces from my work table to inspire new cards.
