Tasteful Textures

I have been showing off the In Good Taste Suite in recent posts and mentioned here how there are some wonderful background texture stamps in the set. Today I have a card to show them to you ‘in action’!!

I used Daffodil Delight tone on tone to stamp the background behine the flowers and the sentiment pieces. The Smoky Slate card base is stamped with the leaf branches in Smoky Slate ink.

The flowers are from the Forever Blossoms stamp set, coloured lightly with my Gorgeous Grape and Basic Grey Watercolour pencils, and brushed with a Water Painter. They are mounted on the Daffodil Delight stamped card stock, with a Highland Heather frame.

The sentiment on the card is a stamp from the Tasteful Touches stamp set, and I cut each word apart to mount on a circle cut from the Tasteful Labels dies, also part of this suite. I finished it off with a Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle bow.
