You Are The Cat's Meow

There are dog people, and there are cat people, and there are those that love both. I like dogs, but I am definitely a cat person. I have owned cats for most of my life, and love their unique personalities. My cat Pogo is a beautiful Siamese cat who turned 18 last month. He certainly has a personality, and for the most part he is the boss in our house! He gets pampered and catered to, because after all, he is old!!!

Stampin’ Up! had a cat punch and Halloween stamp set a while ago. I didn’t care for the stamp set, but I did purchase the punch. I used it to punch out cat shapes, and made cards with a cat silhouette. You can imagine how happy I was to see a new cat stamp set in the Occasions catalogue that coordinates with the cat punch. Now my kitty can have definition, and not just be a silhouette!! This cat is from the Nine Lives stamp set, and uses two stampes to create, one for the outline, and one for the darker stripes. I used my Stamparatus to line up the two images exactly the way I wanted. I love the Stamparatus for this type of stamping.
