Connie's Craft Along

Today I’m sharing a fun layout from a swap I received at my weekend convention. I love swapping. It is such a great way to share ideas and creativity while we inspire others in their crafting.
Here are the pieces to start with.
Cardstock 1 - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Cardstock 2 - 5 1/4 x 4 - embossed
DSP 1 (Patterned paper) - 4 x 3
Cardstock 3 - 2 1/2 x 2
DSP 2 - 2 1/8 x 1 5/8
Basic White/Light - 1/2" strip for sentiment
Interest element - die cut, fussy cut, punched
Stamps, ink, adhesive, embellishments
And here is the first card made with those pieces!

I know I said I would move on from the Sunflower Fields Suite, but I just love it, so one more card. My next one will be different, I promise!

I did change it up for the next card and made a Christmas card.

I love how this layout shows off so much of the pretty Designer Series Paper. I added a small layer of Real Red on this card and I think it really makes the snowflake DSP pop.
