Connie's Craft Along - Playing With Vellum
I love that Stampin’ Up! has Vellum again for us to create and play with. I decided to use some for my cards for Connie’s Craft Along.
These are the pieces to cut and prep;
Cardstock 1 - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
Designer Series Paper - 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 (can be portrait or landscape if directional)
Vellum - 4 1/4 x 2 3/4
Basic White cardstock - 3 1/2 x 1 1/2
Die cut, punched, fussy cut interest elements (at least 2)
Stamps, ink, adhesive, embellishments
This is an easy layout, but you can dress it up as much as you like with the interest elements. I stamped and die cut some berries and fussy cut some jam jars from the Homemade Sweetness Designer Series Paper.
I used the gorgeous Delicate Dreams Specialty Designer Series Paper for the second and third card. This paper is beautiful, and includes the new Hydrangea Hue In Colour and shiny bronze accents. I used die cuts from the Greenery Lane dies for the accents on these cards.
It was a little tough to turn the bronze side down on this card, but I really like this pattern on the “back” of the patterned paper!
