Craft Spot Sunburst
Here is another great way to use some of your smaller pieces of Designer Series Paper as you work your way through your pack!
Start with 5 x 1” pieces of DSP, then cut them corner to corner to make 2 triangle pieces. You can change the width of your DSP if you choose, it will still work, so use whatever scraps you have. This card uses what may be considered the “back” of the Hobby Haven DSP.
For the second card I used the Brushed With Beauty DSP. I also put the DSP down so that the small points of the DSP were part of the card. This meant that the edges were not as wide as on the first card, so I used more pieces of DSP.
I had scraps left from the first two cards so I made a third card using strips from both as the colours were similar. This is not my usual style with lots of colours and patterns, but I’m happy with how this one turned out. Who knew? I guess I need to try different things and craft outside my usual box sometimes!
