Elegant Leaves

Connie’s Craft Along is a fun way to create an easy card and be inspired to step it up however you like. Here are the pieces we started with this week.
Cardstock 1 - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Cardstock 2 - 5 1/2 x 3/4 (x2)
DSP (Patterned paper) - 5 1/2 x 2 1/2
Cardstock 3 - 5 1/2 x 1/2
Basic White/Light - sentiment shape
Interest elements - die cut, fussy cut, punched
Stamps, ink, adhesive, embellishments

And here is the first card I made.

I used die cuts from the Elegant Leaves bundle to create some pretty fall coloured leaves for my interest elements. I love this layout and how versatile it can be. You could move the centre section up and stamp your sentiment on the bottom of the card base for a whole different look. Another option is to tie ribbon around the centre panel and make a nice bow. Add a sentiment block and you have a quick and pretty card with a whole different look.
I kept both of my cards similar today.

My goal is to inspire your creativity with a starting layout. Where you go from there is entirely up to your imagination!
