Using Up Your Scrap DSP - Part 2
Connie’s Craft Along is back! It has been a while, but I love to share with you, and I love to see what you create.
I give you the first step of what to prepare, and then we craft together as I share on my Great Stamping With Connie Facebook page. Here is what we started with today.
Prep these pieces if you want to craft with me.
Cardstock 1 - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
Cardstock 1 - 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 (x4)
Cardstock 2 - 5 1/4 x 4 embossed (optional)
DSP (patterned paper) - 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 (x4)
Basic White c/s - sentiment piece
Stamps, ink, adhesive, embellishments
And here is the first card.
This is the Floral Charm Designer Series Paper and I love it! Pretty colours and pretty flowers! I used it for the second card as well, but the colours are quite different. I also changed up the layout for the squares. The first card was just the starting point, it is fun to change things up for lots of variety in our cards.
As you can see, there are lots of ways to create pretty cards while using up small pieces of our DSP.
Did you see the extra sentiment that had no home in video? It was too pretty to just leave on my desk, so here is today’s bonus card!
