Make Your Own Designer Series Paper - Craft Spot

The Gathering Moments stamp set is a wonderful celebration of the Autumn season. The suite includes some beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper, but on Craft Spot this week I used the stamp set to make my own pretty Designer Series Paper.

Making your own DSP is easy and fun, and you can customize it in any colours you like. Once you have created your DSP, you can turn it into pretty cards.

I used Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry and Pecan Pie to create this DSP. When you do this technique it is a good idea to use one stamp per colour to avoid mistakes and mixing your colours in the wrong ink pad! Start with the largest image and work down in size through the stamps you have selected. You can always go back and fill in gaps as needed after the first pass.

If you have never created your own DSP you really should give it a try.
