Happy Hibiscus

I played with a new (to me) bundle again during Craft Spot. When I invite you to join me on my crafting adventure, I really mean it! Since I hadn’t used this bundle at all when I went live, this was bound to be an adventure - in a fun way.

I love that this is a two-step stamp set, giving you the option to colour your flowers or use the second stamp to add colour to the beautiful flowers. For the first card I used stamps to add colour to the flowers. I used the hash line stamp to add texture to my background piece. I love this type of stamp for adding extra interest to everything!

For the second card I didn’t do any stamping. This bundle includes a hybrid embossing folder which means you can emboss and cut flowers at the same time. It is the first step to creating easy and beautiful cards.

Once I cut out the flowers for the card I used a blending brush to add colour to the edges, bringing an extra element of realism to the flowers.

There are so many great pieces to this bundle including wonderful sentiments. I know I will be creating with this one again soon.
