Fun With Cutting and Pasting

I have a demonstrator friend in the UK and she always says “Who knew you could make so many friends with some cutting and pasting”. She is right! I have met so many wonderful people and made friends from all over the world since I joined the Stampin’ Up! community. For amazing friendships, support and inspiration, you cannot beat being a demonstrator and joining this awesome group.

Now for some cutting and pasting!

This is a pretty card that looks rather complicated, (and making the first one took some wiggling), but once you have made one it is really quite easy.

Start with 2 squares of Designer Series Paper (DSP) that are 3 x 3.
Cut each square in half to give you 2 triangles.
Cut those triangles in half to give you 2 triangles from each larger triangle.
Cut one of the above triangle into 2 more small triangles.
You will have one medium triangle left over, but you are ready to assemble now.
Lay the triangles on your card to see the placement before you start to adhere.

There will be a gap in the centre, but this will be covered by your sentiment piece. This is such a great way to display pretty DSP in an interesting way.

Give this card a try, I think you will love it, and who knows where some cutting and pasting take you!
