Simple Thanks

A simple heartfelt ‘thanks’ is very meaningful, but when it comes on a hand made card it is even more special. Today’s card is easy to make with just stamps, ink and paper, along with an easy technique, stamping off.

I started with a Soft Sea Foam card base, a strip of Soft Succulent, an Evening Evergreen frame and a piece of Basic White cardstock. I used coordinating inks in Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Soft Sea Foam.

I used the THANKS from the Biggest Wish stamp set. I love this stamp set! To stamp the sentiments, I inked up the stamp, starting with Evening Evergreen. I stamped the sentiment, then without reinking, I stamped a second time, moving the stamp down and slightly to the right. I switched to Soft Succulent ink and did the same thing, then once again with Soft Sea Foam. This is a great way to use 3 colours of ink, and have it look like you used 6 different colours.

It doesn’t take a lot of supplies to make great handmade cards and you too can send heartfelt thanks. Click on any image below to go right to my online store to grab what you need.
