Not long after Covid-19 changed our world, Sara Douglass started #sharesunshine. It reminded us all to send bring sunny cards and wishes to everyone we knew as we all adapted to the our new way of life.
My card today is a thank you for that sunshine, and the beautiful sunny days we have been enjoying this summer.

This is #simple stamping, and is super quick and easy to do. All you need is stamps, ink and paper. I used Daffodil Delight because it is such a bright sunny colour. I stamped a large and small butterfly from the Butterfly Gala stamp set all over a piece of 5 1/4 x 4 inch card stock. My sentiment is from the same set. If you look at the Butterfly Gala stamp set, you will notice the large butterfly stamp has a smaller version of the same butterfly right above it, all attached in the same stamp. There is a coordinating punch for this stamp set, and it punches both butterflies at the same time, quick and easy. For this card I was just stamping, no punching, and I didn’t want both butterflies.

I mounted my stamp right at the top of the block, so it was easy to ink only the large butterfly for my stamping. After randomly stamping the large butterfly, I filled in some spaces with a small solid butterfly. I mounted this on a Daffodil Delight card base using Dimensionals. My sentiment is also adhered with Dimensionals.
Quick and easy, but such a bright and pretty card.

Leave a comment and let me know if you were only going to use one colour for your card, what would it be. Tell me and I will make a card in that colour!
