Spring Butterflies

When I’m making cards to send to customers, I sometimes stamp in bulk - many cards that are the same or very similar, and sometimes I create one of a kind cards. This was a one of a kind, although I know a number of my customers that really like butterflies, so maybe I should have made several.

I knew I wanted butterflies, so I started by stamping them with my Butterfly Gala stamp set, and colouring them with Pool Party and Pineapple Punch Stampin’ Blends. I punched them out with the Butterfly Duet punch. I used some Designer Series Paper from the Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP for my background. The front of this DSP has the metallic script which is lovely, and kept me from really noticing this paper until recently. I glad I did though, it is soft and lovely.
The sentiment on my card is also from the Butterfly Gala stamp set, cut with the Layering Oval dies.
