Sweeter Than Candy

This week the Global Design Project has a theme challenge, Sweeter Than Candy. Rather than make a card with cake or candy, I went a different way. What is sweeter than candy to me? My friends!

I guess I was feeling a bit like a rebel when I made this card for the challenge, as in some ways I’m breaking the rules of the challenge, but I have the most amazing frineds that are very sweet, so that’s what I decided to share.

I choose Grapefruit Grove and Call Me Clover for my colours, and used a piece of DSP from Nature’s Poem to further accent my background. The die cut thank you, along with the leaves and flowers are all from the Well Written Framelits. My sweet friend is from Thoughtful Banners stamp set. It too has lots of great words you can put together to make the perfect sentiment.
