Today Is The Day
It’s here! Today is my wedding day. There has been lots of fun going on as we have prepared for this very special day, and I want to share some of it with you. As a crafter, and mostly a paper crafter, you know I was happy to have lots of opportunity to paper craft many things for my wedding. The invitation was first.
I have always loved the Live With Passion, Laugh Out Loud, Love Deeply sentiment from the Beautiful You stamp set, and it was a perfect way to show everyone what we believe in as we join hearts and hands in marriage.
The wedding colours are Blackberry Bliss and Highland Heather, as these matched the colours of the beautiful flowers I got from Steve when he proposed.
I mentioned in a recent post that I love the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty paper, and that you would see more of, so here it is. I used the 12 x 12 sheets with the Very Vanilla side up and glued it to 12 x 12 sheets of Highland Heather card stock. From there it was easy to cut pieces the exact size I need for the centre opening invitation.
Inside the invitation is printed on Very Vanilla card stock, and the belly band is wrapped with 5/8” Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon in Very Vanilla.
