A Fun Fold Thank You

The Global Design Project challenge this week is a sketch, and I decided to use a fun fold to showcase my version of this sketch. Here is my card.

And here is the sketch that inspired my card.

I used Falling Flowers - the stamp set, as well as the pattern for the flower placement on my card. This incorporated both the focal circle, and the diagonal shape of the backdrop in the sketch, and suited the card I was trying to create. I coloured my flowers with the Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzleberry, and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends, and cut them out with the May Flowers Framelits Dies that coordinate with the Falling Flowers stamp set.
My sentiment is from Daisy Delight, and stamped in Rich Razzleberry.

My card base is Bermuda Bay, and I started with a piece cut 4 1/4 x 11 inches. I scored it at 5 1/2 and 8 1/4 to create a fun fold for this card. I used Daffodil Delight to back my greeting and to create a grounding for my cascading flowers that float over the card base when it is closed. I love how this fold gives so much dimension to the look of the card when you have it standing on display.
Last, I added a little Linen Thread bow to complete my card.
