Embossing With Vellum
Embossing on vellum is just as easy as embossing on card stock, but gives you a whole different look. It is more muted than on card stock, giving you a softer look, or toning down something you feel is too vibrant for the look you are after.
The only caution I would give you is be careful not to overheat your vellum when you are embossing. Card stock can scorch if you heat it too long with the heat tool, and so can vellum. Once your embossing powder has gone shiny, it is done, no more heat required!
You can also add colour to your embossed image. For this one I used our fantastic new Stampin’ Blends and coloured on the back of the vellum. Colouring on the back gives a nice clean image on the front , again keeping the muted colours.

You can also use your Big Shot and a Textured Impression Embossing Folder to dry emboss vellum. Doing this will give the vellum a white look where it is embossed. It is easy to do, you emboss your vellum exactly the same way you emboss card stock, but the result is a very unique look.
I used Snail to adhere my card stock, Mini Glue Dots to adhere the vellum and sequins, and Dimensionals to make my greeting pop.
