Sketch Challenge for Global Design Project

Last week the Global Design Project had a colour challenge. The week slipped away, and I didn’t get to participate. This week there is a sketch challenge. I really like the colours from last weeks challenge - Blackberry Bliss, Grapefruit Grove and Mint Macaron. They are 3 of my favourite Stampin’ Up! colours, so I decided to combine last week and this week and use those colours in this weeks sketch!

It’s Sketch Week for the Global Design Project

This week the Global Design Project Challenge turns 150, and we have a sketch to celebrate with. I love this sketch because it is a great way to show off some of our gorgeous Designer Series Paper. For my card today I decided to use the Garden Impressions 6 x 6 DSP.

Global Design Project Colour Challenge

It's a colour challenge over at the Global Design Project, and they are 3 fantastic colours! Night of Navy, Bermuda Bay and Lovely Lipstick. Blue is my favourite colour, so Night of Navy and Bermuda Bay work well for me, and I love the pop of bright that Lovely Lipstick adds. It is one of the new 2018 - 2020 In Colours. They are all bold bright colours and this one is no exception.

When I saw the theme for today’s Global Design Project challenge, I thought of this song, and wanted to create a card to reflect that.

Love It - Live It - Share It

When I was invited to my very first Stampin' Up! Workshop, I had no idea what to expect. While I had done crafts all my life, I had never really done any stamping, or made my own greeting cards. I really hadn't done a lot of papercrafting of any type. We made a Christmas card that was lovely, but then . . . we made a Bagalope. We turned a plain white envelope into a beautiful gift bag. . . and it was easy to do!!

A Fun Fold Thank You

The Global Design Project challenge this week is a sketch, and I decided to use a fun fold to showcase my version of this sketch. I used Falling Flowers - the stamp set, as well as the pattern for the flower placement on my card. I love how this fold gives so much dimension to the look of the card when you have it standing on display.

Case the Designer for Global Design Project

The Global Design Challenge this week is to Case The Designer, and this time the designer is Brian King. Brian is a demonstrator in Atlanta and I have followed him for a while. His cards are clean and interesting, and I love his designs. He inspires me with lots of his designs, and today I am 'case'ing one of his cards.
