I'm sure you have heard the line Fake It Until You Make It. It may sound silly, but it can really work. If you smile, even it you have to work at smiling, it does make you feel happier. There are lots of ways to get to a smile that are not hard to do, and thinking of someone we love is an easy one. As you think of that person, and how much you love or appreciate them, you start to smile from inside. My card today celebrates the people that bring us that joy and make our lives better.

My Mom loved Delft Blue, and I do too. She had a stunning Delft Blue plate collection that covered an entire wall in her kitchen. The new In Colour Blueberry Bushel is very much like the colour of those plates, and my card today looks like a Delft Blue tile to me.

Yesterday we celebrated my daughter's birthday, so now I can post this super fast and easy upcycle project for you. My daughter loves everything from Bath and Body Works, and I must admit that I really like them too. In addition to their wonderful products, they have super cute bags with a blue check pattern. The bags also include a great big logo, so they are not perfect to use as a gift bag as is, but that is easy to fix.

It's a colour challenge over at the Global Design Project, and they are 3 fantastic colours! Night of Navy, Bermuda Bay and Lovely Lipstick. Blue is my favourite colour, so Night of Navy and Bermuda Bay work well for me, and I love the pop of bright that Lovely Lipstick adds. It is one of the new 2018 - 2020 In Colours. They are all bold bright colours and this one is no exception.

The new Lovely Floral TIEF (Textured Impressions Embossing Folder) really is lovely. You can use it to create a beautiful focal point for your card. This card may look a little tricky to make, but it isn't really difficult. I used punches and embossing folders to create loads of detail in my card.
