As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator there is lots of support and help we can take advantage of to run our business. There is a Business Development Program that Stampin’ Up! offers, and I joined this. My BDA is ReNee, and I love working with her. I always tell her she “kicks my butt in the nicest possible way” as she helps me set goals and be diligent in my business.
I got to meet ReNee face to face at OnStage, so I wanted to make her a card to let her know how much I appreciate her help.
Butterflies can be beautiful and intricate in their colouring, or more simple and elegant. Stampin’ Up! products help you create all these types of butterflies and everything in between. My card today features a simple, yet elegant copper butterfly.Read More
My Mom loved Delft Blue, and I do too. She had a stunning Delft Blue plate collection that covered an entire wall in her kitchen. The new In Colour Blueberry Bushel is very much like the colour of those plates, and my card today looks like a Delft Blue tile to me.Read More
When you really want to thank someone, just reach for the Animal Outing stamp set, and you can thank them BIG TIME!!! The new Lovely Floral TIEF (Textured Impressions Embossing Folder) really is lovely. You can use it to create a beautiful focal point for your card. This card may look a little tricky to make, but it isn't really difficult. I used punches and embossing folders to create loads of detail in my card.Read More

The Global Design Project challenge this week is to CASE (copy and selectively edit) the Designer, and this week it is a lovely design by Charlet Mallett. She has a beautiful card with many wonderful layers, giving us lots of elements to play with for our CASE. Today I needed to make cards for two very special people, so I decided to CASE Charlet’s card twice!Read More
There are 2 types of cards. Those that are very free flowing, and those that have more structure, such as rows of stamping, or repeated elements. I enjoy making both types of cards, which is why I'm so happy that it is now even easier to make structured cards with repeated elements.Read More
The Global Design Project challenge this week is a sketch, and I decided to use a fun fold to showcase my version of this sketch. I used Falling Flowers - the stamp set, as well as the pattern for the flower placement on my card. I love how this fold gives so much dimension to the look of the card when you have it standing on display.Read More
The Global Design Project this week is to use this sketch to inspire our cards. I really like working with sketches because they can be very flexible - you can use any stamp set and colours you like, you can turn them, and they are a fun way to be inspired to make different cards with a single layout style. I decided to turn the sketch on it's side for my card.Read More
In April I attended the Stampin' Up! OnStage conference in London, Ontario. Whenever Demonstrators get together we love to swap cards. It is a great way to meet other demonstrators, share ideas and see lots of creative projects. It is tons of fun! This was one of the cards I made to swap. I had 2 different cards, but the other one used brand new product that I had received as a Display Board Stamper, so I couldn't swap that one until mid-morning, after the big catalogue reveal! I knew I wouldn't want to miss out on early morning swapping, so I made a bunch of this card as well.Read More
